For over 9 years, Toll has provided Oracle Primavera Information Technology services to the NYC SCA through various partnerships, serving as both a prime consultant and a subconsultant. The SCA uses Oracle Primavera P6 and Oracle Contract Manager (PPM) to manage the life-cycle schedules for all projects, from feasibility through closeout.

PPM serves as the scheduling engine for the Project Tracking System (PTS) at the SCA, consolidating large volumes of information on SCA Design and Construction projects. The SCA requires an upgrade of PPM (version 7.0) to the latest release (16.2), which includes updating all custom-house systems that interface with PPM.

These systems enhance reporting capabilities, reduce duplicate data entry, eliminate redundant data storage, and improve the

user experience. Toll assessed the SCA’s deployment of PPM and related interfaces to identify risks associated with the upgrade effort.

Toll is currently designing an upgrade path to the latest release, which involves capturing and documenting all business processes, analyzing and testing all custom scripts and procedures, and advising on the requisite upgrades to the IT infrastructure in alignment with the mission of the SCA’s Toll will provide all reporting required by the SCA’s SDLC model and intends to deploy the upgrade to the users by the end of 2017.
