GOVERNOR’S OFFICE OF STORM RECOVERY

GOSR uses project control systems for scheduling and cost estimating

to administer recovery efforts under a Construction Management prime agreement between Tectonic and GOSR.

We were assigned to perform project controls and cost estimates integration support GOSR in accordance with the prime construction services delivered at private homeowners’ residences in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York, who have applied for Storm relief funding through the grant.

We provided project scheduling and cost-estimation integration services.

Project Challenges and Successes

• Toll provided qualified staff at a moment's notice when the program needed to change.

• Our consultants performed under high pressure and delivered information technology and case management solutions to the Governor's Office of Storm Recovery Managers' satisfaction.

• Schedule and Cost Estimates integration was vital to delivering timely completion of reconstruction and building elevation projects.

• Toll consultants didn't back away from the enormous challenge that required designing and implementing a construction case management system that supports several thousand homeowners with their construction coordination needs and guides them through the construction life cycle.
